I would try this: With the iPod connected, use your mouse cursor to click on Settings. There should be a Restore button on the page; click it with the mouse cursor. That should do the trick, I think. I have an ipod and don't have any softwear like Itunes, or anapod to get audible files on to my ipod, so is there another file type that I can convert my audible books in to that will also allow me to create book marks when listening to them on my Ipod Shuffle? ------------------------------ Message: 5 Date: Wed, 14 Mar 2007 09:49:46 +0100 From: Linus Nielsen Feltzing <linus_at_haxx.se> Subject: Re: To: Rockbox <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Message-ID: <45F7B72A.5050907_at_haxx.se> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Pop Eye wrote: > I know you can bookmark audible files. Mr Pop Eye, What on earth does this question have to do with the message you replied to? (which was about repairing an Archos Jukebox) Don't reply to a totally irrelevant mail, create a new one. http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html To answer your question, MP3 is as good as any format. However, Rockbox does not run on the Shuffle, so I don't really know why you ask this question on the Rockbox mailing list. They do appear to have them in Hong Kong, but they won't ship internationally from there. I tried to order a sample from NXP, but they only deal with registered partners. I've tried some of their UK distributors, but no response yet. -- Steve B ------------------------------ Message: 8 Date: Wed, 14 Mar 2007 20:42:28 +1100 From: "daniel dalton" <daniel.dalton47_at_gmail.com> Subject: RE: alarm for rockbox To: "'Rockbox'" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Message-ID: <000001c7661d$14c72a30$6402a8c0_at_daltonv2cx30ng> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" On 3/13/07, Jonathan Gordon <jdgordy_at_gmail.com> wrote: > > I don't think an alarm plugin was written yet, but it would actually be a > > good extension > > for the clock plugin itself... any thoughts? > > > there is an alarm plugin in the tracker (2 possibly) > Two; I wrote the second one based on the first. How do I install the alarm plugin do I need to be able to add patches to my rockbox build? I have an old iMP-550. I believe the UDA1380TT is on the iMP-550. I live in the Netherlands. The player is still working, but skips after being on for an hour or so. I am willing to sell it to you for a reasonable price. I am keeping the remote though...
