And as long as Rockbox is already in your iPod, it should be as simple as just over- writing the old bootloader and /.rockbox folder with the new ones. I used that trick and it worked just fine. I would try this: With the iPod connected, use your mouse cursor to click on Settings. There should be a Restore button on the page; click it with the mouse cursor. That should do the trick, I think. They do appear to have them in Hong Kong, but they won't ship internationally from there. I tried to order a sample from NXP, but they only deal with registered partners. I have an old iMP-550. I believe the UDA1380TT is on the iMP-550. I live in the Netherlands. The player is still working, but skips after being on for an hour or so. I am willing to sell it to you for a reasonable price. I am keeping the remote though...
