Thanks for your hint. I tried that this morning but somehow it only worked
when I retried it again this evening. Perhaps it was too early the first
time :)

Everything seems to work now as expected after following your hint and
then running the new ipodpatcher. Perhaps it would be a good idea to add
some kind of warning (installing a new build on an old patched system may
render your installation unusable) to the download page of the current
builds?
