locked up my Iriver H120 going down the plugins menu real fast

Today I locked up my Iriver. I was exploring the plugins menu and when I
arrowed down so far, the voice just quit and holding stop doesn't stop the
disk. Since I am blind, I cannot find where that almost inaccessible reset
button is. (I should get rid of this other wireless keyboard I have sitting
around that needs one of these type pressed and held for awhile upon every
battery change to sync to it's receiver) I've been poking various pointy
objects into every hole I can find near the USB port besides the one for the
charger itself and nothing happens. Is there any other way to force a reset
to happen besides waiting all day for the hard drive to drain the battery?
If not, is there a device I can get to plug into the charger jack to make it
happen sooner? I thought I heard of chargers that completely drain batteries
some how before recharging, but I am not sure what they do to use power up.
I'm just looking for an easily accessible solution so if I lock things up
that I can get out of it without having to wait all day or try to find
someone who can do it. The interesting thing is that I get the sound saying
Windows detected it when I plug into the USB port, but it then becomes an
unknown device. Too bad I couldn't get into something that way to unlock it.
