Exactly. If it started where you left off, then you pressed the wrong
key. The select button should always start the selected file from the
beginning, while Play always resumes the last file played.

Tha could be because of a long-standing bug in the resume code that
fails to resume long files, such as audio books. Then it would resume
the last played file, but from the beginning again. I can see how that
added to the confusion...
