Date: Fri, 18 May 2007 14:05:07 -0400 Hello everyone, I've got a bit of a problem on my hands here. A co-worker of mine saw Rockbox running on my iPod video and fell in love with it. She asked me if I could install Rockbox on her iPod nano (1st gen, 4GB capacity), because she loved all the features it added, including video playback and games. I agreed, and installed Rockbox on her nano, along with a couple of themes. I even built her a database using the iTunesToDB util. All was well and good for the whole week, and today she came to me saying that her iPod is completely non-responsive. It won't start up; the charger doesn't work; and my PC refuses to recognize it or mount it. Now I've got a problem. My co-worker is upset because she thinks that Rockbox bricked her nano. It was working perfectly when I installed Rockbox, and it worked perfectly this whole week. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened to her nano for it to just suddenly bork on her like this?
