Please read the summary in the wiki http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IpodEightyGB How should anyone tell if this problem will be present with other drives without knowing those drives? As I already said, there are modified players around that run with 80GB disks since the beginning, without the need for any fix. Which makes it absolutely clear: this fix is _not_ related to the _size_ of the disk but to the way the disk (and controller) work. The sector size of the FAT is something different, the Ipod 5.5G 30GB also uses a different sector size. - Dominik Received on 2007-05-22 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
