Are you talking about the voice menu under general settings? If so you
are correct. General settings and then voice that's where the new
settings are.

I am running the june 7th build of rockbox and was under the impression
that you could now also use .talk clips with the database? Am I correct?

Try getting the latest build I don't know if the new voice thing is in
the june 7th build. I don't think you can use voice clips with the
database. Have you read about the patch? It simply falls back to
spelling dir names if the .talk file isn't found and the same for files.
I think you can change this so it falls back to numbering.

Using an iaudio x5, I notice no difference in the voice options. When in
the manual, I notice that there are a few new options. Like Use
Directory .talk Clips.

Use File .talk Clips.
But when I use the june 7th voice file with rockbox, I don't see those
options listed. Has any body seen any of this?

 did you update your voice file and the build? When in the voice menu
are there Options that don't talk?
