However, any signal fed into line-in, is not recorded, nor do I hear it in the record monitor. I made sure that the plug connecting to the line in jack on the x5's subpack, does indeed provide an audio signal, by verifying it with an older device. But no sound at all from line-in in my x5. Does any of you know about this, or have a solution? Hi, Paul, I also use an X5 to record from old cassettes. <Smile> I had this little problem when I first used the line-in feature. After setting the recording source to line-in, which I'm sure you already do, connect the iAudio to your designated device, and then go into the recording screen. Once in the recording screen, arrow down once with the joystick. Then, keep arrowing right. This will increase the recording volume for the line-in. Naturally, you will want to be playing something on the output device, so you'll be able to notice the increase in loudness. If you get sound, you can exit the recording screen, and your setting will be saved. I really hope this helps solve your problem!
