Date: Sat, 9 Jun 2007 19:31:57 +0100 Dear listers I am blind and would happily try the accessibility of the util but for one concern. I have an older version of Rockbox on an iRiver H340 and would like to update it if I knew for sure that the version that the rbutil would find and install would work properly and have the relevant voice files etc. Can I be confident that running rbutil will identify and install the right versions of the bootloader, the firmware and the voicefiles and that all will be working properly afterwards? Is there any insurance measures I can take before trying it out? Like copying the .rockbox folder and rockbox.iriver files from my iRiver onto my computer before trying it so that at least I can get back to where I was before (minus the old bootloader anyway)? Any reassurances/clarification welcomed. Thanks, Robin. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Herngaard" <pethern_at_email.dk> To: "Rockbox" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Saturday, June 09, 2007 7:03 PM Subject: Re: How accessible is rbutil for the blinds ? > Hello Dominik > > I have downloaded RBUtil for Windows and can report that the software is > partially accessible with my screen reader JAWS for Windows. > Under the Installation tab, there are two buttons with spoken text.
