This is slightly OT, since it's not directly related to Rockbox, but
it seemed like something that Rockboxers might know for sure.

The headphone socket in my iPod 5G is FUBAR (right channel has died),
and I'm basically thinking about hacking up a dock connector to make a
line out for it.

The question I have is, is the line out on the iPod actually line
level, or does it just give out the same signal as the headphone port?
Obviously, for my particular problem, the latter would be more useful.

Any information would be great :)
