Date: Fri, 22 Jun 2007 10:33:38 -0500 I'm presently using a fm transmitter with mine. I purchased it at the time I purchased my x5l on amazon. Looks like it is not listed as an excessory any more. It works quite well. It plugs into the subpack jack and charges the x5l. The plug actually locks into place into the subpack jack. You have to press 2 buttons (one on each side of the plug) to disconnect. When I find a clear/open fm station, the sound is reasonably good. When traveling, I have to select a new frequency from time to time. I don't know where to get one any more. I'll get the model number if you are interested. Maybe you can find one. I was told one can use the headphone jack to input into the mp3 jack on the newer car stereos. I hoped the car adapter mode had something to do with this.
