Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2007 14:12:19 -0400 The battery is a lithium ion affair and is the size of the unit, sandwiched in the middle. If it hasn't swelled it can be removed from one end. If it has swelled then rots o ruck! I had a JBRFM burst wide open from a swelling battery. The FM battery contacts are poor so removing the battery, cleaning them and reinserting might do the trick. Make SURE that the charger is 6 volts. The JBRV1 charger at 9 volts WILL burn out the charging circuit. Ask me how I know! As I recall changing the hard drive involves unsoldering a shield assembly. Not as easy as on the V1. John On Wed, 11 Jul 2007 18:54:21 +0200, "David" <dav-ped_at_frisurf.no> wrote: >Ok! Sounds like a good idea.
