Hi Paul,

The sales rep you spoke to is full of rubbish. The Gigabeats are very well
supported by
Rockbox and are rather inexpensive and easy to find on eBay. The SanDisk
Sansa e200
series are still being made and are sold in many major retail chains. The
Cowon iAUDIO X5
is one of the best damn DAPs I've ever seen in my life (and makes me wish I
had one
of my own). It sounds like he just wanted to make a quick sale on an iPod.

Yes, it's true that the iriver H1x0 and H3x0 are no longer being
manufactured, but
there's plenty of these going around eBay.
