Please stop using this excuse, someone can turn around and say "Maybe
you'd like to host, manage, and archive this list, as well as provide
support for thousands of users? Maybe you and AOL can split it."

It's really a rather juvenile response. Your original signature was
huge, and significantly increased the download size on your emails, a
real problem when someone has limited data per month. I don't think any
is complaining vehemently about your one-line signature.
