Hi Rocker Not sure if you are quite understanding what is happening here. You don't have to go looking for a file just type the following at the prompt from within cygwin... nano /etc/profile This opens up an editor in cygwin and then you just edit the line from step two. A handy hint for blind people is that you can copy the text from the email that give the new path with a control c but you cant paste into cygwin with a control v, what you need to do is to hit alt and space bar and then arrow down through all the usual maximise etc till you get to edit then right arrow to get into the sub menu and arrow down to paste and the info will be pasted into cygwin.
