Most likely you have put your music to the Ipod using Itunes. Itunes stores the files in a hidden folder names /iTunes_Control. You can simply enable the database and use that for browsing the music, the database is capable of detecting the hidden files. Alternatively you can sync the music to the player using drag and drop from your favourite file manager. It will then show up in the file browser. Additionally, you can change the file browser to show hidden files, but as Itunes changes the file names to cryptic names I bet this won't be of much help. The manual explains all issues you asked about ... > When I hit play, I hear, "no file to resume". sure, if you haven't played any file before there is nothing to resume. And *please* follow our mailing list etiquette and do not post fullquotes to this list. It has been discussed several times and fullquotes are simply not wanted here.
