Speex should be realtime on all our targets. Monkey's Audio as a
format is really just ill-suited to playback on ordinary embedded
platforms such as ours. It's incredibly overkill and pretty much needs
a proper high mHz desktop CPU for all but the simplest compression
modes, and then there's really not much point left in using Monkey's
Audio.
Just make sure you buy an Ipod we support, not all of them are.
