Hello Glen, Yes I did install the right voice I went on the blind users part of the rockbox and installed the voice file that came after the latest and old stuff on the builds.
I had it talking about two weeks ago for a few months but figured I would update it since it kept stopping from searching through the files wile playing music but now it does not want to talk atall.
back then I had mike talking on there when I first installed rockbox I had fast speaking reed us english on there.
thanks for the reply.
take care
Sal

yes ana, I did do that and I dod not get any voice at all.
I have triedinstalling several different builds for the 30 gig video and still get no voice.
I did get the ipod to make that sound again when you boot it in to rockbox but my voice is the problem now.
  thanks for the reply.

    ** Hi Sal,
Did you also download the proper voice for the date of Rockbox that you put in?
For every build you copy in, you need to get the voice for that build.
    HTH.

Hello thanks to the list I was able to get my 30 gig ipod video recognized by my
computer by doing the select and play button now what I am wondering is if their

suposed to hear I am getting nothing out of them.

    Hi Sal,

did you reset after installing Rockbox? You hold down Menu and Select (the top and center buttons) to reset.

    Cheers,
    Anna
