Subject: creating partition on h140 drive

creating partition on h140 drive

Hi list.
Ok i figured out what my problem was with the h140, i repartitioned my 140s
drive with an ntfs file system. I have found out that is incorrect. I have
now successfully deleted the old partition on the drive with partition magic
but I have a few questions.
When i create the new partition now I have deleted the old one, what fs
should it use? basicly I no it shouldn't use ntfs, but should it use fat, or
fat32. As partition magic gives me individual options called fat and fat32
respectively. I am keen obviously to use the option that reserves as little
space as possible to create the partition so maximising the amount of
storeage space available to me.
Also when creating the partition could someone please tell me what type of
partition i need to make?
partition magic is recommending I use the option called logical partition,
but the other option I have there is called primary partition.
Does anyone no what option I should use?
Thanks for your help.
Alex.
