Hi Leonard,

To boot to the Apple firmware, hold down Menu and Select (the top and
middle buttons) for 10 seconds or so. I've also found that on my iPod
Nano, holding down just Menu (the top button) for 10 seconds also
works. Menu and Select also boots you to Rockbox; just don't hold
them down so long.
