Well, the key and the actual build script are only necessary to actually add
your server to the pool, not to test your local build speeds...

I've just been reluctant to hand it out. I know it is public and I'm probably
a bit paranoid, but for the sake of all the server owners I haven't seen any
point in handing it out to everyone since only people who want to add their
servers to the pool would be interested and those people would need to be in
touch anyway to inform us about their servers etc etc.

The same source I guess, but it is also available here:

(it needs to be renamed and get executable rights for the rbclient user)

In fact, you can get both the script and the key from any of the existing
server admins.

I leave that to ubuntu-using people to answer to. I do believe the common
approach so far as been to simply redo the symlink but I'm not sure.
