The same occurs on my iriver H140/H340. I think that Stop used to obey
the follow playlist setting in really ancient versions of Rockbox, but
it ceased doing so sometime during 2006 or perhaps in the first part of
2007. I think it changed when the
UI was substantially reworked. For now, I find I need to press select
to synchronise the file browser with the playlist. In one respect this
is kind of nice, because you don't get reset to the last playing track
upon stop and can continue browsing and working wherever you were when
you stopped the track, but the other behaviour was nice too. I'm
presently in two minds as to which I prefer.
