Hi Kane,

You might try setting iTunes not to open automatically when you
connect your iPod. That way, you'll never inadvertently access your
iPod via iTunes and Windows Explorer at the same time. I would think
doing both simultaneously might cause file system problems. You could
then turn on iTunes when you were done with Windows Explorer.
