Hello,

But I would like to be in the rockbox firmware while recharging, as I use
the ipod while its charging. I don't have itunes (and have no desire to).
How long does the ipod video last now? I'm stil getting 5 hours (on the
gauge), but I see in major changes that battery life has improved
dramatically.

thanks
Have a good day from Tyler C. Wood!

Hi Constantine,

Reboot to the Apple firmware before plugging in your iPod. Then it should
charge normally.

Cheers,
Anna

Subject: recharging question

Hi,

When recharging my ipod, I have a wall charger I use. So I plugged it in
with build 16467, and the song I was listening to stopped playing. The hard
drive spun up, spun down. spun up, spun down, almost as if it was trying to
boot into both the ipod and rockbox firmware at the same time. How can I
stop this? Or is this a bug? I'm afraid to plug it in because it may just
stress out the hard drive.

thanks
