Great! I'm sure that some way will be found, finally.
I'm quite whetted to "enter the matrix" of the firmware, but I'm so
busy and I miss embedded programming experience.

I will do this test. I expect to ear a very intense disk activity just
at the boot time and no more activity even browsing all the play tree
or different play lists (I never used this setting).

Please, don't surrender! :-)

P.S.: I would like to ask you what's the problem concern this, but I
imagine it's a question for the dev-ml, isn't it?
