A new release hasn't been made for several years now, and the last
release didn't even support the Ipods. There is no release plan for a
new release (at least as of now, and it isn't likely to change soon).
But there are regular builds ("current build") available which get
updated on every source change. These are usually quite stable, so
there's no real need waiting for a "real" release.

And just for the record: we don't estimate timeframes so if you're
waiting for something special to happen don't hold your breath.
