Rockbox gets rebuilt with every commit to the source code; in other
words, whenever a developer alters the code and uploads it, a new
version (also known as revision) of Rockbox is made available. Now,
you don't need to update your iPod with every single revision; you can
update as often or as rarely as you like, so long as you remember to
use the latest revision if you choose to report bugs or seek support.
