Hmm I thought you just tap the select button to boot into rockbox on the
iPod.

I thought you held down menu while cyclecng the hold switch to boot into
the apple firmware?

Could someone correct me if I am wrong here?

Thanks

Rich Cavallaro

I've just tried this on my 5.5 iPod.

To boot into Rockbox, make sure that hold is off and then tap Menu.

To boot into the OF, make sure that hold is off, tap Menu and then once
the (white on black) Apple logo shows up, which is nearly instant then
slide the hold slider to on.
