Try to use chkdsk command on your ipod drive (using windows console). Windows Console can be accessed by choosing Run from Start Menu. Type cmd then enter, and you will enter the console. For example, your ipod drive is E: then type this in console: Chkdsk /f /r e: Hope it helps...
