i used to have a 160gb & now have a 250gb in my JBR20
& it works a treat - it's still the best mp3 player
avaiable because no other make can give as big a
capacity, folder browsing & no DRM issues. i used to
have an archos 504 160gb but despite being 6 years
newer this wasn't as good as my JBR20 because you had
no way of switching off the tag library.

i'm not sure if the 6gb versions can take the big
drives though. why not just get a JBR20 on ebay -
they're pretty cheap to get & the recorders have been
reported to have better sound than the players.

also, the 160gb+ firmware version was update a while
ago & now doesn't appear to work - at least not for
me. (i posted this on the forum but had no response)
so you may have to get an old version from nov 07 from
somewhere.
