Hi All,
Hnow, I haven't been on the list for a while but have been monitoring all
the interesting questions.

So, I have a rockbox question about speech clips as well.

I've had Rockbox on my Ipod Video for a around year now.
I haven't updated it or the version.
So, if I want to update this:
1. how do I know which Rockbox version I have and whether there is a
newer update?
2. If I want to update, do I need to deinstall my present system?
3. is this an easy process?

Several months back, Rockbox started using Speex instead of MP3 for .talk
clips. You need the most recent version of VoiceBox, called VoiceBox+, to
generate the clips. There is info about it at
