Not sure I totally understand the distinction. Usually, I navigate to a
track through the database (e.g., album/artist->artist->album->track),
which as I understand it creates a dynamic playlist on the current
album. Then I stop either by holding down play, or "pausing" the track
and eventually the device times out. Shouldn't a bookmark be created
under either circumstances?
