Is it possible that this is the inconsistency you're talking of? Not sure I totally understand the distinction. Usually, I navigate to a track through the database (e.g., album/artist->artist->album->track), which as I understand it creates a dynamic playlist on the current album. Then I stop either by holding down play, or "pausing" the track and eventually the device times out. Shouldn't a bookmark be created under either circumstances?
