Remotes without a display are still handy. Lower power, and you can
still adjust volume, pause and resume playback, and skip tracks.
Browsing is not the only use of the remote by a long shot. The
Gigabeats only have non-LCD remotes, and as far as I know iPod remotes
don't have an LCD either.
