He's probably already off list. He, like many of us, feel that there's
benefit in public reminders to people about the top posting policy (for
one, theres a much higher chance of someone who hasn't posted yet
accidentally reading it), and has become fed up with not only your
response, but the frequent flames we tend to receive from those who feel
top-posting isn't problematic at all.
