Hi all,
I've looked through the manual, but I'm getting odd results trying to
record with the mic on my sansa c250. I can start the recording via the
record menu or the record button with no problem. I run into problems
when I try to stop the recording and then finding the file. I have
managed to find where the recordings go, but when I stop the recording,
it doesn't always save.

I typically press and hold the on/off button until I hear record again.
This stops the recording, but doesn't always give me an mp3 recording. I
do hear sound coming through the headphones once I've started the
recording, so I'm at a loss as to why I don't always get an audio file
after I hit stop.

Should I pause the recording and then hit the stop button?

I have the prerecording set to off if that matters.
