Hi. Just wondering what is the point of this plugin exactly, as in why would someone want to do this sum thing to all there files. and secondly, i'm no expert on hard discs, but it doesn't sound like a really good idea hard resetting your player especially when the disc is spinning round, at the very least, couldn't that shorten your drives life, and at the worst actually damage your hard disc? i mean i no a hard reset is some times unavoidable, but i really hate doing them especially when the drive is spun up, as you can actually here them making a kind of pinging noise, i don't no how to describe it when the power just suddenly goes from them, its not the normal gentle click sound as the drive closes down. ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html Received on 2008-07-22 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
