About a month ago, i copied a whole bunch of music over to my H320,
only to accidentally knock out the cable. Most of them music played
fine, and at the time, I didn't bother to mess with it. The player
still loads and plays most of my music, with the exception of a few
corrupted files. Now, the problem is, when i try to delete the
corrupted files, i get this error in my logs:

[1307396.669203] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdh1)
[1307396.669205] invalid access to FAT (entry 0xffcc0011)
[1307396.669209] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdh1)
[1307396.669211] invalid access to FAT (entry 0xffcc0011)
[1307396.669216] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdh1)
[1307396.669218] invalid access to FAT (entry 0xffcc0011)
[1307396.669223] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdh1)
[1307396.669225] invalid access to FAT (entry 0xffcc0011)
[1307396.669230] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdh1)
[1307396.669232] invalid access to FAT (entry 0xffcc0011)

and then the device remounts read only. I get the same error if i try
to read or play the corrupted files. Rockbox just refuses to play it.
I tryied fsck.msdos/fsck.vfat and got this error:

dosfsck 2.11, 12 Mar 2005, FAT32, LFN
File system has 1219839 clusters but only space for 1219838 FAT entries.

Most of my music is backed up, so I wanted to know, would it be safe
to just format the player, then copy back .rockbox to it? Or will that
brick my player?

thanks,
John
