It _is_ possible to cram an 8mm drive into an H320 case, but that involved removing the rubber protection from around the drive. Which might cause problems should you drop the unit (I've dropped my h340 while running once a few years ago without any problems - I expect that was due to the rubber protection). The other problem with removing the rubber protection is that in order to fit the ZIF drive and adapter in there, you need to cut away a bit of the rubber anyway (at least on the H140). If there's no rubber to cut away, then there might not be enough space to jam everything in there... I'm awaiting my dealextreme adapter to mess around with my h340 - does anyone know a cheap source of drives (80gig+)? vik ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html Received on 2008-09-14 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
