Sorry, in this case, I was speaking more specifically, and not
entirely seriously (though somewhat).

FWIW, I agree that inline posting makes more sense, and you have no
argument from me on that point. I've been around the Internet (and
Usenet, and mailing lists) long enough to be familiar with posting
etiquette, and, generally, make an effort to not only inline post but
to also trim excess quotes. Again FWIW, I'd say excessive quoting is
an even worse offense than top posting, especially as regards the
posts that quote a whole other post and just add "Yeah, what he said".
