Date: Sun, 30 Nov 2008 17:23:12 +0100 Hi all, in order to backup all my Ipod Video contents, I connected it to my laptop (Ubuntu 8.04) and I tried to save it with "tar c ...", without compression. After some minutes of disk activity, the disk mode freezed, so I had to reboot the DAP. Instead, using a normal "cp -a ..." command the operation was completed successfully. After that, I compared the source and the destination contents with a "diff -r ..." command, but the disk mode freezed once again. The same operation was successfully completed using the USB connection in OF. Note: I flashed the DAP just once, when I installed Rockbox for the first time (r13680-070621). Have anybody noted the same behaviour? How can I check if the bootloader has been updated? Thanks for any suggestion. -- ,= ,-_-. =. asettico ~ [ http://rossomaltese.it/ ] ((_/)o o(\_)) OpenPGP ~~ [ 1024D/1CB926BA 2003-11-29 ] `-'(. .)`-' \_/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.htmlReceived on 2008-11-30 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
