It is not about making sure the player is off. The issue is that there
is no way to tell before and during the spinup if you pressed stop
long enough for it to shutdown. If it was a menu option you would be
sure it is in the shutting down process.

The splash is already there but it does not come up untill after the
disk has spun up.

That makes no sense the H340 does not have a power button.The play
button is used for startup and I can not understand why you ever would
want to add extra visual feedback..
