Just to muddy the waters a little... I have synced the patches mentioned
earlier in this thread (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/6733).
The first is trivial, enabling on all targets the existing Shutdown menu
option which is currently only used on the Archos Player and Recorder. On
an Ipod 5G the binsize and RAM cost are 128 bytes apiece.
The second touches more code, adding a reboot option - RAM cost is 496
bytes, binsize is 480.

I personally find these useful, for example, long ago working on a bug in
the scrobbler code which only occurred if you didn't pause before shutting
down (something not possible on an ipod), and tend to use them day-to-day.
