Rockbox expects a FAT32 file system. Just to clarify, Windows XP as well as Vista default to format a drive as NTFS with the option of FAT32. You have to make sure when you format it under WinXP or Vista that you select FAT32. > > Also, what do you mean by "loaded the Archos driver on the disk"? Something like how iTunes does it, except iTunes also can reprogram the iPod with updates and lets you buy music from iTunes store. I don't have an Archos, but I don't believe it needs something loaded on it to work. > > --Rob > -- > Nobody's ever lost in life...they're merely taking the scenic route. > ============================== > Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments. > See http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/no-word-attachments.html > ============================== > -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- > Version: 3.1.2 > GCS/S/M/MU d- s+: a29 C++(+++) UL++++>$ P++ L+++ E+ W+ N+ o+ K++ w--- O- > M !V PS+ PE Y+ PGP(+) t+ 5++ X++ R tv b+++ DI+++ D++(---) G++ e+ h- > r++ y+ > ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > List admin: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox > FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ > Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html _________________________________________________________________ Show them the way!
