Subject: Ipod Video 30G video playback

Ipod Video 30G video playback

Hi all! Just got rockbox working on an Ipod Video 30G, and wanted to inquire about video playback. I know from the video plugin page that the fps for a full 4:3 video isn't so great on this version of the Ipod (14fps is the listed performance) but I noticed when I tried to play the Elephant's Dream test video that it appeared to display in what I can only term "fits and starts" - are there any other Ipod Video 30G users out there who can recommend ways to get better video performance? Is it better to use the original apple firmware for video playback on this platform? Would the latest version have any chance of speeding up the decoding process?

Thanks for an awesome package - rockbox is amazing!
