I think getting at least one of our targets supported in QEMU would both be an interesting project and useful to Rockbox. While the UI simulator is useful to UI testing it doesn't help so much with codec crashes and performance profiling. Obviously I'm not as up to speed on the various real device debugging techniques but I think it could be helpful. Also someone has mentioned before getting a rockbox GDB client for the iPod over USB serial? -- Alex, homepage: http://www.bennee.com/~alex/ CV: http://www.bennee.com/~alex/cv.php ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.htmlReceived on 2009-01-19 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
