Subject: Noticable Pop Between Tracks (Sansa)

Noticable Pop Between Tracks (Sansa)

This is probably a -dev issue, but...

I've been running Rockbox on Sansa C- and E200s for some time now and,
while I'm generally pretty darn pleased (it certainly beats the heck out
of the OF), one thing that's nagged me from day one is that there's a pop
between MP3 tracks (and, I believe, FLAC and vorbis) that's really
noticable at the high volume levels required with the pitifully
underpowered Sansas.

Note that this is with gaplessly encoded streams. I can concatenate the
files and they play just fine.

Different versions tend to behave a little differently in this regard. I
just built and installed r20014 and it was so bad that I immediately went
back to r19889 (which has been pretty stable for me anyway).

Given that files are buffered in advance, this seems unnecessary. Any
ideas what could be causing this?
