Subject: noob question (kinda)

noob question (kinda)

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to get vinyl tracks I've ripped on Audacity to
associate with CDDB information on the artist and album I'm converting.
Ideally there would be a way to associate a cue sheet with a "one big
wav" file and break the album at the right places for CDDB to recognize
it. As yet I haven't seen or figured out how to use that feature in
audacity. OTOH, if I could say "these tracks go to this album" in Rock
Box, that would work too. I haven't replaced my itunes firmware with
rockbox yet, but if there was a way to do this, it would make me a
believer. itunes obviously does not support such shenanagins, but I'm
not even violating any copyright, since I do own the vinyl.
Any pointers appreciated, no flames please. I did search the forums
before subscribing and sending.
Thanks.
Dave
