Depends on what version of rockbox you are using. If you are using a
"real" release, then the player uses the original Sansa firmware for
USB connections and the 8GB card won't work. You can load music on
the card with a separate microSDHC reader then stick the card in your
player.

If you are using a recent daily build, then the USB connection is done
in Rockbox (screen shows a big USB logo) and you should be able to
access the card-slot drive.
