There is no need to have the cursor placed somewhere by default. You should check the whole repeated text anyway and delete everything that is not needed to understand your answer. So if the cursor is on top by default you would need to move down cutting out most of the original post while if the cursor starts at the bottom you have to move up doing the same (which maybe a bit unintuitive so starting on top seems to be slightly better). Nevertheless, whatever you comment to (stays undeleted) should be above your answer. In general this should not be the whole text you answer to. It's just like reading a forum where you will also have a chronological arrangement of text. I am often wondering why people are top-posting at all. They have to be annoyed by this kind of replies too when they read them. But it seems they don't even notice the difference. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html Received on 2009-06-22 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
